“But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.Matthew 16:15-17
Church,

Lately, God has been showing me how so many walk in this world blinded to the truth. They are blinded to the state of their lives, blinded to their sin and blinded from seeing the Lord Jesus Christ for who He is.

Jesus Christ had the same problem while He was walking this earth. Many people “saw” Him with their eyes but few were able to see past the flesh and into the Spirit to who this Jesus really was.

2000 years later, so many are still blinded to the truth. As Pastor Janeth said on Sunday, we need that Holy Spirit infilling so that the scales will fall from our eyes and the truth can be revealed to us. The truth of Jesus Christ being the one and only God, the truth of our hearts and the truth of our sin.

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Amen,

Kris
