MANDATE AND VISION OF UNITED FAITH CHURCH
United Faith Church’s Mandate is to make disciples in accordance with the Great Commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”Matthew 28:19-20
Building on the mission entrusted to us by the Lord Jesus Christ, United Faith Church has a vision to raise and educate youth and the young at heart to love and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, leaving a legacy that will impact generations to come. We do this with a focus on personal restoration to God, dynamic and intentional discipleship, and the establishment of strong biblical foundations.
UNITED FAITH CHURCH NAME AND COLORS
The name United Faith Church was given to Pastors Jerry and Janeth Santiago by the Lord in 2006 as they prayerfully sought His will for the church He had entrusted to them. Since that time, United Faith Church in Barnegat New Jersey has been molded and shaped by God, moving together as a family of believers truly united in faith for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Over the years that we’ve celebrated the festivals and seasons of our God, 4 distinct colors have been used in the decoration and preparation of the table and altar of the Lord Almighty: blue, purple, scarlet, and white. The blue, purple, and scarlet materials were used in the temple of the Old Testament to make the priestly garments and curtains for the tabernacle.
“[The Priestly Garments] Moreover, from the blue and purple and scarlet material, they made finely woven garments for ministering in the holy place as well as the holy garments which were for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded MosesExodus 39:1
“Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twisted linen and blue and purple and scarlet material; you shall make them with cherubim, the work of a skillful workman.Exodus 26:1
The white materials represent the atoning power of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ unto those that believe in Him.
“They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.”Revelation 3:4-5
“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”Isaiah 1:18
