On The Right Trail

Word of the Week

I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. (‭Psalm‬ ‭119‬:‭15‬ NIV)

Recently I took a bike ride down the Barnegat trails with Luke our worship leader and while on the ride this scripture hit our hearts and spoke to us. The trail we were riding on was clear. While we were riding there was fresh air from the surrounding trees, an amazing view of the woods and surrounding area that was so peaceful and it led us to our destination.

What does this have to do with anything? When we are meditating and following the Word, we are focusing on God’s ways! His ways are a path, a trail! And if we follow the trail that the world lays out there’s nothing but struggle, hurt, pain, and it’s end destination is hell. But when we follow God’s trail, the Word, it’s refreshing. We breath in the Words of life that God speaks. The path is clear because The Lord has made a way through the Lord Jesus to see it. The surrounding view is beautiful because it fixes our eyes on the beauty of The Lord. And there is peace because God’s ways are truly peaceful, making us complete and whole.

Will you take a ride today? Will you join the journey? As we come into the Word it’s the  greatest journey any man or woman could take. And it’s final destination? The presence of the Lords temple!
