For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Jeremiah 29:11

When watching TV the other day a commercial came on asking if you were prepared for the future. It offered investment advice, retirement goals and financial planning all in an effort to secure your future. The people of this world spend a lot of time preparing for what is to come, all in an effort to be secure when the time comes.

The Bible teaches something different concerning the future. True security can only come from the Lord Jesus Christ. God has plans for the future of His Church, BIG PLANS! Plans that will give us hope in what is to come and a future secure in Him. Not many people can say they have hope for the future but in Christ we have unshakable hope knowing God to be who he says He is.

Praise God that He has a plan for His people. Praise God for the Hope that comes in His name. Praise God for the destined future we have with Him!
