"...our days are not guaranteed. So, use the time God has given you wisely."
Hi everyone! It’s Tania, and welcome to the Moms for Christ podcast. The Word I have today comes from Psalms, chapter 90, verse 12. And it says, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” This verse is transforming me even now. This Word is speaking about understanding that your time on earth is short, and when you understand how quick the time really flies, it gives you a heart to understand that God has a call for each of our lives - and our days are not guaranteed. So, use the time God has given you wisely.

"I don't wanna come to the end of my life and realize I wasted the whole life God had given me...on me."
I think about when I was a teenager. As soon as payday rolled around, I went straight to the mall with a purse full of cash. By the end of the trip I vividly remember many times wondering, ‘What happened to all my money?’ I would sit and calculate all of my receipts realizing I wasted a whole week's pay in one shopping trip. It's the same with us when we are frivolous with our days and time. I don't wanna come to the end of my life and realize I wasted the whole life God had given me...on me.

I think of my son who's in high school right now. And he doesn't have a job, so he understands that money is not always going to be readily available to him. He has something in mind right now that he really wants and he's been saving for it - and he's very careful about how he spends his money. And when he wants something he counts the cost and asks: ‘Is it worth me delaying - or possibly even stopping - my goals?’ That's exactly what God wants for us - to weigh our steps through His Word, asking the Lord if this is what He wants for us so that we don't forfeit the prize - eternal life with Him.

"Lord, give us the wisdom to use the time You have blessed us with wisely, keeping our eyes on You - the true prize."
Lord, thank You for the beauty and simplicity of Your Word. Thank You that You love us and have come to speak in our everyday situations so that we can understand Your Word. In Romans 2:5 it says, “But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed.” Lord, teach us. Please don't let us be those who have stored up wrath living lives and doing our own thing. Lord, please let our lives testify that we love the Father just as You have loved us. Lord, give us the wisdom to use the time You have blessed us with wisely, keeping our eyes on You - the true prize. Amen. God bless, and have a wonderful week I will speak to you soon!
