God has a plan

God has a plan for usHi everyone. It's Tania, and welcome to the Moms for Christ podcast. A word that has been spoken in my house so many times this week is in Isaiah chapter 64 verse 8 and it says, “Yet you, Lord are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” This verse speaks of one who understands that they're not the Creator. That the Lord is the Creator and we're the created.

You know, it's so funny because lately in my house my kids have really been working a lot with clay and it would be crazy for my daughter's bracelet to say, “No, I’m a shoe” and for her earrings to say, “No, I'm a bracelet.”

"He has created each of us according to His perfect plan."
The same holds true for us and the Lord. He has created each of us according to His perfect plan. When He tells us what He wants, we must be obedient to it. The Lord has created us to be like Jesus: obedient to the will of the Father. We teach our children to be obedient to us and as they grow in obedience to us, they grow in obedience to Jesus.

Would you just join me in praying for the children: That they would see and understand the great purpose in their life is to be obedient to the Father. That their lives would be lives that would take pride in understanding that they have been called and created to look exactly like their Father in heaven.

“Your desire is that we would do Your will...You have created us for this purpose.”
Lord, we thank You for these children Lord. We thank You that You have blessed us Lord and given us Your Word and allowed us to come to see what You desire Lord. And Your desire is that we would do Your will. Your desire is for us to be obedient to the will that You have for each and every one of our lives. That we are not the ones that are in charge. That we are not the ones that decide what we want Lord but it is You and You alone because You have created us for this purpose.

“...their purpose is to do His will and to be obedient to that will.”
Lord, I pray that our lives, Lord would be lives that would live out a worship unto You, thanking You for rescuing us, thanking You for saving us. Thank You for bringing us into Your Kingdom and not leaving us on the outside but drawing us to yourself Lord. And Lord I just pray that our children would understand that there is joy in obedience. Lord, please let each child live out obedience to You and Your will because that's what You call true worship. Amen.

And that's the prayer: That our children would understand that God is the Creator, creating us for His special purpose. Living out such humble lives, understanding their purpose is to do His will and to be obedient to that will. God bless and I will speak to you soon. Have a wonderful week.
