Hi everyone! It's Tania and welcome to the Moms for Christ podcast. The Word that I have today comes from the book of Isaiah chapter 55 verse 10-11 and it says, “As the rain and snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

I love this Word. The Lord put it in my heart during a time when I can look outside and actually see His promise in action!

Right now, it's spring and we see things beginning to bud everywhere but I remember a few months ago when the rains and the snow came and we didn't see anything. Everything was asleep or dead. Then in the Lord's timing, He woke up the trees, the grass, all that had been watered all winter long began to come to life. The rain and snow did not come without purpose.

“In His timing, that Word springs to life, giving us life in Him.”
God does the same thing in our lives. He sends a Word or a sermon that showers us with His Word. In His timing, that Word springs to life, giving us life in Him. This is such a Word of encouragement that causes my faith to rise even more, knowing that God is faithful and He always keeps His promises.

I'm reminded of a Word that was spoken during a prayer one day with a friend and my girls. The Word hit my youngest daughter's heart in such a way that she couldn't get it out of her head! Every time we prayed together or every time she needed a verse for something, she quoted this verse. It was a Word of encouragement that she carried with her in every circumstance of her life. (After a few months, she stopped quoting that verse because God gave her a new verse).

A few months later, God put it in her heart to make a card for someone, citing the verse of encouragement that she held on to a few months prior. The person later told me how the card blessed them. At first, I laughed it off thinking, ‘That’s just my kid making notes. She does it all the time.’ But when the person told me she put a verse in the note, I asked my daughter what the verse was. When she told me the verse, it was then I understood. God's Word hit my friend, prompting her to pray a verse that hit my child's heart, later causing her to share it in God's perfect timing and that is what the Word is meant to do in each of our lives. He showers us with His Word and then in His timing, brings to life those dead places.

“...He will water it to accomplish all that He desires. We only need to be obedient.”
I want my children to understand that as God leads us, we share the Word or a Word. We may never see the fruit of that Word but to trust that His Word never comes back void. In His timing, He will water it to accomplish all that He desires. We only need to be obedient.

Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your promises that we can hold on to. Thank You that we don't have to fight to be in control but that we can trust You, knowing that in Your timing, You accomplish every one of Your desires for Your purpose. Thank You for Your beautiful Word. Thank You for the encouragement Your Word brings, knowing You are in control and Your timing is always perfect. I pray that today, we would connect to Your heart to either receive or share a Word for Your perfect will, amen. God bless and have a wonderful week, I will speak to you again soon.
