my confidence is in the LordHi everyone! It's Tania, and welcome to the Moms for Christ podcast. The Word I have today comes from the book of Philippians, chapter 1, verse 6. And it says, “...being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ.” This verse comes from a letter Paul has written to the people of Philippi while Paul was in prison. It's a letter of encouragement to continue in the Gospel that they've been taught. Although Paul was in prison, his confidence was in the Lord. The Lord spoke into his life, and he believed what the Lord said - and was confident in it.

"God’s Word is full of promises, and He keeps every single one."
I think of my daughter the other day getting so excited about a hair product that she was gonna get in the mail. She spoke about all that it said that it would do, and I asked her, ‘How do you know that the product is gonna do what it says that it's gonna do?’ And she said, ‘Mom, I read the back of the bottle. Why would they lie?’ It's so funny because it's that innocence to read something and believe that it's gonna do what it says it is gonna do. As I spoke to her I told her, ‘You know, the only thing in this world that we can have confidence - that it will do what it says that it's gonna do, is the Word of God.’ God always does what He says that He's gonna do. God’s Word is full of promises, and He keeps every single one. My prayer is that just as my daughter intently read the back of a bottle, that my children would read God's Word and believe it - waiting in expectation and confidence that He's doing a good work in each of them, and will carry it out to completion.

"...in a world full of chaos, in a world that is crazy and full of lies Lord, there is truth in Your Word."
So would you just join me in praying for the children - that they would read God's Word and trust it, knowing that He has begun a good work in them, all they need to do is follow Him and trust Him, and obey Him, and He will bring that work into completion. Lord, we thank You for Your Word. We thank You that we can have confidence in Your Word Lord because we know that Your promises are true - in a world full of chaos, in a world that is crazy and full of lies Lord, there is truth in Your Word. And that we know, Lord, that if You say You're gonna do something, You do it, and we can walk with confidence in that Word. Thank You for Your Word, Lord. Thank You that You have given us a rock that we can stand on, Lord - a firm foundation that we can hold on. And Lord, I pray that our children would grow in Your Word - walking confidently in it, knowing that You have plans for their lives, Lord that You have promises Lord, and that Your Word and that You will bring forth each and every one. That they would hold on to Your Word, trusting it, and knowing that You will bring Your work into completion. Thank You, Lord. Thank You for Your Word.

And that's the prayer - that our children would trust God's Word that they would look into it, and know that the work in them - He will bring it to completion. God bless, and have a wonderful day. I will speak to you soon.
