Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.2 Peter 1:4

United Faith Church,

So often in church you will hear people talk about the, “Good News”. The good news of Jesus dying on the cross and raising from the grave. It is good news but how does it affect us? It gives us the power to live a completely transformed life and be free from the sin of the world.

Jesus Christ on the cross gave us a chance to participate in His divine nature. We can escape the corruption of the world and the slavery of sin and be completely set apart!

We participate in this by His promises. The promise of a redeemed life, the promise of freedom from sin and the promise of the power of the Living God being active in your life.

These are the promises that Jesus Christ left with us. Let us be counted among His children, not those who only know about the “Good News” but those who live it every day!
