New Season

Word of the Week

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither —
whatever they do prospers.Psalm 1:3
Church,

Most trees spend years growing before they finally begin to give off their fruit. They establish their roots, grow down deep and sturdy their limbs before they can finally bear the weight of the fruit. Then, when the season is right, they bear the fruit they were meant to bear.

We too, as a church, have gone through the growing years. We have established ourselves in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have grown our roots deep into faith and we have prepared ourselves to bear the weight of His Holy Spirit.

Fall is almost upon us but our leaves do not begin to wither and die like in the world. We continue to bear the fruit that God intended for us to bear. With this new season coming, what new fruit will you bear? What new thing will God be doing? What new height will He be bringing you to?

I pray that your heart would be ready and seeking the new blessings that God is looking to bestow in this new season!

Amen,

Kris
