Fruit of the Gospel

In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.Colossians 1:6
Church,

Paul and the Apostles worked diligently in the gospel and got to see just the beginnings of the fruit of their labor. They were witnesses to the gospel beginning to spread and multiply throughout the land. Even today, we have had the opportunity to hear this gospel because of the seeds that Paul laid during this time long ago.

Today, we need to ask ourselves how we are seeing the fruit of the gospel. Every day, we should be able to see how the gospel has produced fruit and grown in our lives. When a man receives the gospel it immediately causes changes and transformation. Every day after that, it continues to grow and bear new fruit all the way until they reach heaven.

What new fruit is being shown in our lives this day? How has the gospel grown in our hearts this week and brought us to a new height we didn’t know previously? This gospel does not save us once; it saves us every day and continues to grow and bear fruit until the day we meet our maker in heaven. Ask the Lord to send His gospel power into our lives and let it bear fruit this day.

Amen,

Kris
