We believe that Jesus Christ is the only absolute truth!

In a world where there are no longer absolute truths, we can be assured that there is one absolute truth that will remain forever.

GOD THE FATHER

We trust in the One True God who is head of the Trinity and creator of the heavens, the earth, and the universe. We know that God the Father has demonstrated His love for all humanity by sending His Son Jesus Christ as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of mankind as according to the Scriptures.

GOD THE SON

United Faith Church trusts in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. That He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. We acknowledge that He became man without ceasing to be God; that He led a sinless life, was crucified, resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. We know He will return to redeem His saints and to judge the world.

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

We trust in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives within and empowers all who receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior for acts of service according to all spiritual gifts listed within Scriptures. We believe He reveals to all believers the will of God as our Counselor sent by the Father.

THE TRINITY

We trust in the one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.

THE WORD OF GOD

We know that all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the man or woman of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. We submit to the authority of the Bible as the Word of God; that it is the inerrant, infallible, timeless revelation of God’s will for mankind.

HEAVEN AND HELL

We believe in the existence of heaven as the Kingdom of God which is promised to those who place their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We believe in the existence of hell as a place of eternal punishment and separation from God for those who choose not to put their faith and trust in Jesus.

SALVATION

We acknowledge that every person is born with a sinful nature which separates them from God the Father. In His love, God sent His one and only begotten Son Jesus Christ as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can we be reconciled back to God and receive complete forgiveness.

RESURRECTION

We trust in the bodily resurrection of those who have died in Christ and that they will be caught up together with those who are alive and remain at the second coming of the Lord which is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church.

BAPTISM

We affirm water baptism as a public display of commitment to obedience unto the Lord; a symbolic act of the rebirth of man into God’s holy family. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by the fruit and gifts of the Spirit.

COMMUNION

We partake in the ordinance of The Lord’s Supper, understanding that the elements are symbols expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, a memorial of His suffering and death and a prophecy of His second coming.

SANCTIFICATION

We teach that God empowers believers to be sanctified just as Jesus sanctified Himself. We know that sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil and being conformed to the image of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Only in this way are we able to fulfill the two greatest commandments of “loving the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength” and “loving your neighbor as yourself.”

THE CHURCH

We acknowledge the church to be the eternal and universal body of Christ throughout the world consisting of all those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We profess the need for a local assembly of believers to meet for the purpose of worship, evangelism, and fellowship. We partake in the fellowship of the church as a means to promote spiritual growth, unity, and love as we demonstrate the love of God with one another.

Specifically, we declare God has called United Faith Church to “make the manifold wisdom of God known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms according to His eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Eph 3:10-11)

ROYAL PRIESTHOOD

We know that as Christians we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, holy nation, a people belonging to God that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light. And as His children, we have full access to the Father through his Son Jesus Christ.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

We are called to the praise and worship of God through music, singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, clapping and raising of hands, dancing, and living our life as a holy sacrifice unto the Lord. We know that God inhabits the praises of His people, and that through praise and worship the church experiences the life-changing presence of God.

PRAYER

We the disciples of God are called to pray continuously on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests and to always keep the saints in prayer. Prayer is the foundation of every believer both personally and corporately, and is the essence of worship unto the Lord and necessary for spiritual growth, communion with God and building unity in the church.

STEWARDSHIP

We know that God has called men and women to be stewards with everything in their life by joyfully giving tithes and offerings, as well as acts of service unto the Lord and to be stewards in their relationships by honoring and loving one another.

EVANGELISM

We acknowledge that evangelism is the obligation of every disciple beginning in their home first and then extending throughout the entire world. Every disciple is called to make other disciples in all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything the Lord has commanded.
